Chef-owners Marvin Dubon, from El Salvador, and Mayra Dubon, from Monterrey, Mexico, cook a menu that brings both kitchens together: home-made tortillas, well-prepared fillings and house-made hot sauces. You'll find taco trios, twelve-inch burritos, JC bowls, enchiladas (with a gluten-free option), Salvadoran pupusas, pork tamales, empanadas and sizzling parrilladas to share.
In 2013, Tourism Winnipeg's Peg City Grub praised the Dubon family recipes, the free-range, naturally raised meats and the five house-made hot sauces (chipotle, avocado-cilantro, mango, pineapple and blueberry). Families enjoy the lively, colourful atmosphere in our Chalmers / Elmwood dining room.
